Much time is spent by the Tuareg in personal beautification such as grooming and attire and such a fancy leather wallet pouch would add an accent to a man’s attire as well as have a functional purpose.
Worn around the neck, the wallet will hang at the front close to the waist.

This traditional tribal used Tuareg leather wallet or “enafad”, made of goatskin, is entirely hand-made. Lavishly decorated with applied cut-out leather patterns, embroidered with added twine and sequins, the surface of the pouch is also hand-impressed with a linear pattern. 
The interior consists of two separate flapped sections where money and small personal possessions could be stored.
Among the Tuareg, men prepare and tan the skin used to elaborate their goods and the women affix all detail decoration such as patterns, etc..
Rich patina, tribal used – Collected in Mali.
