Old worn Bobo amulet of two chameleons in a mating position.
Mating chameleons amulets are worn to help in the birth of children.
The side of this old amulet in contact with the wearer’s skin has a nice worn patina.
Adorned on both sides.
Early to mid 20th century – Collected in Burkina Faso.
