Copper-alloy Lobi bracelet decorated with continuous double spiral motifs around its circumference.
According to Karl-Heinz Krieg, double spirals in the Volta region symbolize chameleons and therefore possess a sacred character.
Rich dark patina with traces of verdigris accentuating the spiral decoration.
Collected in Burkina Faso.
