Traditional Fulani heart-shaped silver ring from Mali.

This distinctive ring was traditionally presented to Fulani women as a symbol of marriage or friendship. Its sculptural heart-shaped form is embellished with applied silver granules, creating a striking example of Fulani silversmithing.

The ring displays a rich natural patina from years of wear. One silver granule is missing, as shown in the photographs, but this does not detract from the overall character or wearability of the piece.
