A strand of assorted shapes of ancient carnelian, quartz and rare early West African”porcelain” trade beads.
The carnelian and quartz beads are well over 1000 years old, have been hand drilled, displaying a funnel shaped hole.
Bead sizes range from 7 mm to 32 mm in length and 7 mm to 14 mm in width.
The condition is very good with minor nicks normal for beads of this age – Collected in Mali.
