Description

This vibrant old Fulani necklace was acquired “as is” in Mali and is as authentic as can be.
The strand consists of 44 old Venetian black and white glass ruffle beads and of 27 old Czech  molded glass beads simulating coral – all beads dating to the early 20th century.
This combination of beads is particularly favored by Fulani women for the vivid contrast in colors as much attention is placed on personal adornment and aesthetics.
The condition of these beads is excellent with no chips or cracks. 
Superb patina – Collected in Mali.
