Description

An interesting mixed selection of antique Venetian glass trade beads dating from the mid to late 1800s.

The group of wound glass beads includes a substantial number of eye beads, also known as skunk beads, together with striped and decorated Venetian beads in black, white, yellow and red. All strands contain beads that are graduated in size.

Showing normal signs of age and use, including surface wear and some pitting.
General condition is very good.

Collected in Mali.
