Description
Takassa are the amulet necklaces that young Tuareg girl wear.
The necklace of silver lahia with small glass beads strung on wool twine, ends in a twist closure.
Rich patina characteristic of old tribal pieces, mid 20th century.
Collected in Niger.
Dimensions of lahia range from: 2,8 to 3 cm
