A fine repoussé pattern adorns the copper sheet face.
Backed with tin sheet metal, the two suspension loops are brass.
The Iwellemmeden clan from the region of Menaka, are the Kel Ataram, or ‘those from the west’.
Excellent patina of age and wear – Collected in Mali.
