Description
A group of seventeen (17) selected very early and rare Dutch glass beads dating to the 17th-18th century.
These beads once clear in color have with time, obtained a range in colors going from ice to frosty white to a pale mauve, to an amethyst mauve, the color variations are the result of exposure to the natural elements and burial in the desert sands.
Superb patina of iridescence and frosting resulting from burial and normal surface erosion.
Collected in Mali.
Average diameter of 10 mm and a length of 8 mm
