Rare Tuareg Silver Ring with Mosque Minarets Size 11, Mali

Description

Architectonic in shape and inspired from Moorish architecture, this majestic Tuareg silver ceremonial mosque ring is unique.
Reminiscent of the principal tower of the mosque with its five towers true, this ring is a fine example of the mastery of the Tuareg silversmith.
The minarets are 3,5 cm (1 1/2″) in height and the dimensions of the face are 2,3 cm x 2,7 cm (7/8″ x 1 1/8″).
Likely reserved for exclusive ceremonies, such a ring is rare custom-made piece.
Soft patina,  mid 20th century – Collected in Mali.
