Produced in Europe in the early to the mid 1900’s for the African trade.
The unique quality of Faturan amber, is to oxidise to a deep cherry red.
The larger beads show the characteristic features, the long thin cracks due to the gradual shrinkage of the resin over time.
Exceptional patina – Collected in Mali.
