About the BERBER
The Berbers, also known as the Amazigh, are an indigenous ethnic group of North Africa. Their history stretches back thousands of years-long before the Arab expansion and the rise of Islam in the 7th century CE.
The Berber population spreads across: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya.
In Mauritania, Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, the Tuareg ethnic group is mainly made up of nomadic Berbers.
