Description

Tuareg aluminium amulet tcherot.
Finely etched and with a backside of copper, a metal possessing healing powers.
Enclosing Koranic verses, the amulet protects its wearer against the evil eye and brings luck.
Tuareg or Bella.
Rich patina, mid 20th century – Collected in Mali.
