Ancient granite beads collected in the region of Kidal in northeastern Mali.
There is a total of 72 ancient stone beads of varied shapes and colours with beautiful speckled markings.
Granite stone is a particularly hard material and shaping the stone into beads required time and great skills with very most rudimentary of tools.
Rich patina of age and wear – Collected in Mali.
