Bambara Leather Arm Bangle with Two Amulets, Mali

Authentic tribal used leather arm bangle with two amulets or grigris.
Protective amulets worn on the upper arm, hidden from onlookers to preserve their magic powers.
These amulets enclose verses from the Koran or magic herbs and will protect the wearer from evil and bring luck.
Collected in a village on the outskirts of Segou in Mali.
