Description
This articulated silver Mizam bracelet was traditionally worn by Sahrawi women during the Guédra, a ceremonial dance performed by the Sahrawi communities of the Guelmim–Oued Noun region of southern Morocco.
Beautifully constructed with articulated geometric elements, the bracelet retains a rich natural patina acquired through age and use. It is fitted with a custom pyramid-shaped silver locking key, made by a Swiss jeweller, allowing the bracelet to be worn securely while remaining completely reversible.
An elegant and highly wearable example of Sahrawi silver jewellery in exceptional condition.
