Antique natural amber beads from Morocco of rich deep honey and butterscotch colours.
Amber is a form of portable wealth that could be traded in times of need.
The Baltic region is the source for amber to the Maghreb and was used in jewellery along with silver, coral and amazonite beads.
These natural amber beads from the 19th century are in very good used condition with a rich patina.
Temporarily strung and ready for use in jewellery creations.
