Commonly known as ‘Djenne beads’ these ancient beads are approximately 1000 years old.
Some of the beads in this strand have a beautiful surface iridescence resulting from burial in the desert sands.
Collected in Mali.
Bead sizes range from: 3mm to 5mm in diameter and 2mm to 4mm in length
Strand is 64 cm (25 inches) long
