T1 Ancient carnelian beads of tabular shape.
Traded in Africa via the ancient caravan routes crossing the Sahara.
Dating from circa 1200 AD, the beads have likely origins in Khambhat (Cambay), India.
Good condition with age patina – Collected in Mali.
