Description

Ancient carnelian, jasper and quartz beads make up this attractive strand of excavated beads.
Shapes and colors are varied and these beads are well over 1000 years old. All holes have been hand drilled, displaying a funnel shape.
The strand consists of beads that are graduated in size, ranging from 2 mm to 15 mm in length and 5 mm to 12 mm in width.
The condition of the beads is very good with very minor nicks, normal for beads of this age.
Collected in Mali.
