Ancient excavated glass beads from the region of Djenne, Mali.
Known as Djenne beads, they are approximately 1000 years old.
Bead colours are mainly shades of deep blue-grey and with surface iridescence.
Sizes range from: 3mm to 7mm in diameter and 2mm to 7mm in length .
Collected in Mali.
