Tuareg camel milk ladle from Ayourou in north-western Niger.
Wealthier families use these ladles, as the number of cattle determine wealth.
Traditionally, the village chief and his wife serve camel milk during important festivities.
The impressively adorned ladle has a wood handle, covered with hand tooled aluminium, copper and brass.
