Terracotta Dogon Potter Stones

Description

Terracotta old Dogon potter stones.
Made of clay, these tools fit the palm of the hand.
Used for the ‘dégraissage‘ of clay pots by adding materials of mineral or plant origin, making the clay more workable.
Collected in the the Dogon Cliffs, Mali.
