Old Fulani patinated silver ring of substantial weight with a pronounced ribbed design.

Rings of this type were exchanged in friendship or given in marriage and could be worn as a ring or suspended as a pendant.

Rich patina and wear consistent with age and use.

Collected in Mopti, Mali.
